In short

MOZIC is a web platform for musicians, bands, teachers, rooms, studios, and services. In the private Studio you organize repertoire, materials, setlists, rehearsals, shows, classes, and bookings. A public page is optional: it shows only what you choose to publish. Explore lists those pages, informative listings of places, and events.

  • We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • Analytics and external content turn on only if you allow them.
  • You can delete your account from the app at any time.

Who is responsible

MOZIC is responsible for the data it processes to provide the service.

For any privacy matter, write to contacto@mozic.app.

What data we process and why

  • Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email, profile picture, and Google identifier. We never see your Google password. We use them to create your account, show who you are in each workspace, and email you.
  • Workspace content. Songs, lyrics, chords, materials, files, setlists, rehearsals, shows, people, and notes you add. We store it to show it to you, sync it, make it available offline, and share it with workspace members.
  • Public page. What you mark as public: text, photos, links, dates, materials, and contact details you choose to show. Anyone can see it while it stays published.
  • Inquiries and bookings. If you write to a workspace (a band, a teacher, a service) or request a slot at a room or studio, we store your name, email, WhatsApp if you leave it, band, date and time, message and, if the room asks for a deposit, the receipt you upload. That workspace receives and manages them. MOZIC stores and delivers them on its behalf.
  • Data a room or studio enters. Its client records (name, band, phone, email, notes, booking history, and terms such as deposits), its bookings, and the bank alias or payment details it shows to people who book. MOZIC does not charge or move money. The private calendar a room can connect shows name or band and room, never phone or email.
  • Students and classes. A teacher or academy can add their students: name, contact, instrument, level, courses, attendance, homework, grades, a fee log and, if the student is a minor, the name and phone of a parent or guardian. If the teacher sends a personal link, the student signs in to «Mis clases» and sees only their own things; the teacher's private notes stay hidden unless the teacher opens them. The workspace decides on and manages that data; MOZIC stores it on its behalf.
  • Verification and claims. If you ask to verify your workspace, we store the request, any note you write, and our decision. If you claim an Explore listing, we store your account, why you say it is yours, and the link you give as proof. If you report an error on a listing, we store the message and, if you leave it, your email.
  • Explore reminders and follows. If you tap «Avisame cuando empiece» or «Seguir» on a place or an artist, we store which event or listing you chose, with its name, date, and time. We use it to send you one push about 30 minutes before each event starts. Nobody else sees whom you follow.
  • «Para vos». When you are signed in, Explore can order events by the genres you entered yourself on your workspaces' public pages and your songs' tags. It is worked out on each visit and not stored. We do not use your browsing history or what you tap in the app.
  • Location. If you ask Explore to use your location, your browser asks for permission and we use it right there to pick the nearest city. We do not send it to MOZIC or store it.
  • Support, feedback, and reports. Name, email, message, the page you were on, your browser, and the app version. We use them to answer you and fix problems.
  • Push notifications. If you turn them on, we store a technical address for each device, its keys, and the browser, to send you rehearsal, show, booking, and class notices, and the Explore events you asked about.
  • Analytics and errors. With Analytics on, we measure visits, performance, and errors in your browser, and public pages count visits with an anonymous identifier. Without that permission, we only record server errors.
  • Security. We use your IP address for short windows to limit abuse, and the server keeps technical request logs.

Why we may process it

  • To provide the service: your account, your content, the public page, inquiries, bookings, verification, claims, the reminders and follows you ask for, «Para vos», and app emails.
  • With your consent: analytics, external content, push notifications, and browser location. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate interest: security, abuse limits, reCAPTCHA, server error logging, and the informative Explore listings, which show public data about places and services. You can object.
  • On behalf of a workspace: client, student, and inquiry data a room, studio, teacher, or academy enters or receives. That workspace is responsible for having a basis to process it, including a parent's or guardian's permission when the student is a minor.
  • Legal obligation: when a law or an authority requires it.

Who we share data with

Workspace members see its content according to their access. The room or workspace you write to receives your inquiry or booking. Anyone can see what you publish.

We also use these providers. Each one processes data only for the service it gives us:

  • Vercel: App hosting, server logs and, with your permission, Web Analytics and Speed Insights. File backup storage (Vercel Blob) if R2 is unavailable. Data: IP address, browser, pages visited, and performance metrics. When: Hosting: necessary. Analytics: only with Analytics on. Privacy policy.
  • Managed Postgres database: Stores your account, workspaces, and everything you add. Data: All the data described in this policy. When: Necessary.
  • Cloudflare R2: Stores the files you upload: PDFs, images, audio, and deposit receipts. Data: The file and its name. When: Necessary. Privacy policy.
  • Resend: Sends app emails: invitations, bookings, notices, and support replies. Data: Email address, name, and the message content. When: Necessary. Privacy policy.
  • Google (sign-in): Lets you sign in with your Google account. Data: Name, email, profile picture, and Google identifier. When: Necessary to sign in with Google. Privacy policy.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: Stops spam on the contact, feedback, and report-a-problem forms. Data: IP address, browser data, and how you use the form page. When: Necessary for those forms. It loads only on those pages. Privacy policy.
  • Sentry: Detects errors so we can fix them. On the server, always. In your browser, with Analytics on, also traces and Session Replay. Data: Technical error data. Before sending, we strip emails, phone numbers, cookies, IP addresses, and private links. When: Server: necessary. Browser: only with Analytics on. Privacy policy.
  • Geoapify: Turns a room's address into coordinates for the map. Data: The address the room types in. We query it from our server. When: Necessary for rooms. Privacy policy.
  • OpenStreetMap: Draws the maps in Explore: a room's map, the events map, and «El pulso». Data: Your browser requests the map images, so they receive your IP address. When: Loads when you open a page with a map. Privacy policy.
  • Browser push services: Deliver push notifications, Explore reminders included. Each browser uses its own (Google, Mozilla, Apple, or Microsoft). Data: A technical device address and the notice text. When: Only if you turn notifications on.
  • YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and Vimeo: Play the music and videos someone links on their public page. Data: IP address, browser data, and their own cookies. When: Only with Preferences on or if you choose to load the content.

Several of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country.

Explore listings and events

Explore also shows informative listings of rooms, studios, teachers, venues, and services that do not use MOZIC yet, and events from public cultural calendars. A listing can include name, address, location, phone, website, social links, opening hours, and a photo, and each one names its source.

  • The data comes from public sources: Google Places, the place's own website, and cultural calendars published online. From that website we read only the image the place chose for sharing, a short description, and facts such as opening hours, when its rules for robots allow it. The photo is shown from that site and credited.
  • If you run the place, tap «Esta ficha es mía» to claim and correct it. If a listing is wrong or names you and you want us to correct or remove it, use «Informar un error» on the listing or write to contacto@mozic.app. We review it.
  • An event leaves the lists when it ends. Its page stays up and says it has passed.

How long we keep it

  • Account and content: while you keep the account.
  • When you delete the account: right away we replace your name, email, and photo with anonymous values, remove the Google link, your push devices, notifications, preferences, Explore reminders and follows, and student access, and anonymize your support messages and problem reports. Your personal workspaces are archived and their public page is unpublished. You leave shared workspaces, and what you added there stays in that workspace. After 90 days we fully erase what is left of the account.
  • Archived workspaces: 90 days after a workspace is archived we fully erase it, with its content, files, inquiries and bookings, and client and student records. A song from that workspace also leaves the workspaces that linked it. Until then nobody sees it; if you archived it by mistake, write to us before that period ends. To have it erased sooner, ask us by email.
  • Inquiries, bookings, clients, and students: they stay with the workspace that entered or received them while it exists, and the workspace can delete them sooner.
  • Explore reminders and follows: until you remove them or delete the account.
  • Notifications: read ones are deleted after 180 days, and the delivery log after 90.
  • Support and reports: as long as needed to resolve them.
  • Push notifications: until you turn them off, they expire, or you delete the account. A device that was turned off is deleted after 30 days.
  • Abuse limits: minutes or hours.
  • Logs, analytics, and errors: the period each provider sets.

Your rights

You can:

  • Ask for access to or a copy of your data
  • Correct your profile in the app
  • Take your public page down from Explore and its address
  • Withdraw permission for analytics or external content
  • Turn push notifications off on each device
  • Remove your reminders and unfollow from Explore
  • Object to processing or ask us to restrict it
  • Ask us to correct or remove an Explore listing that names you
  • Delete your account from Delete account

For anything else, write to contacto@mozic.app. We answer as soon as we can and, if needed, ask you to confirm the account is yours. If a workspace entered your data (for example, you are a student at an academy or a client of a room), ask that workspace first; if it does not answer, write to us. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage for your session, language, active workspace, and offline use. Preference and analytics ones wait for your permission. Details are in the Cookies Policy.

Children

MOZIC is not meant for children to use on their own. If you are a minor under the law of your country, use it with permission from a parent or guardian. Signing in needs a Google account, which has its own minimum age.

A teacher or academy can add students who are minors. In that case the workspace is responsible for having the permission of a parent or guardian, and keeps their name and phone to get in touch. Student access shows only the student's own things.

If you think we hold a minor's data without that permission, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect your data with access restricted by workspace and role, HTTPS, a content security policy that limits which code can run on the page, and private links that expire or can be changed. No system is foolproof: keep your Google account safe and do not share your access.

Changes

If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its date. If the change matters, we tell you in MOZIC or by email. The November 2, 2026 revision added Explore reminders and follows, «Para vos», listings and events from public sources, student and client data, and deletion periods. Terms of use are in the Terms.

We use optional cookies only if you accept.
